- Synopsis
Yu Ijin, who is the sole survivor of a horrific plane crash that occurred while his family traveling abroad at the age of 8. Both of his parents tragically passed away in the crash, leaving Ijin with amnesia. He is forced to undergo grueling training to become a formidable mercenary, honing his skills to survive and become the ultimate predator. This seems almost impossible and incredibly daunting for an 8-year-old far from home. However, he manages to climb the ranks and becomes the most powerful predator, possessing superior skills even as a child. Designated as number 001, he is the strongest among the mercenaries.
Although Ijin’s emotions have been stripped to become a cold-blooded killer, always ruthless towards his enemies, he still does not want to harm innocent targets. During a mission, he successfully rescues a South Korean special forces team, who happens to be from his homeland. The sergeant is astonished by Ijin’s skills considering he is just a child, and knowing he is also Korean, helps him find his family. Ijin betrays the organization and returns to his homeland after a decade apart, where he has a doting grandfather and a cute little sister.
He enrolls in the school his sister attends, beginning to adapt to typical high school life. Every experience from making friends to dealing with school bullies is unfamiliar to him.
